Blog Weekly Update 5/24/2024 3rd Week of May
I’ve been working on my comic. I watched a few videos about cinematic shots, and reviewed the domestica course on comics and story board. They each had a section on cinematic shots as well. This is what I was starting with. Everything is viewed from the front, and no change in perspective. One far shot, and three medium shots, and two smaller close up shots. I don’t have my dialogue in place yet either.

After watching the cinematic tutorial video for manga shots, I decided I needed more variety, so I’ve mocked out a medium side shot, and closeup face shot.

I’m thinking about replacing frame 3 with this version.

I’m rewatching Jazza’s master class on how to draw figures.

I re watched Jazza’s character master class, and I’m reworking how to draw my characters face.

I made a page listing all the art supplies I’m using or testing for this project.
