Mood board and inspiration art from the internet or ChatGPT.
Make list of Sprites needed for the game.
Sketch some ideas or have ChatGPT sketch some ideas.
Art Assets – Pin Board
Asked ChatGPT to help me build an inspiration pin board of items I need in the Tower Defense game, in my color palette, and to give me a few variations on the buildings. Now I’m working my way through a procreate tutorial on Domestika, and trying to figure out how to draw my own ideas.
I’m two hours into the course, and I have one tower and one missile done. I don’t know how to make the crisp edges though. and my colors don’t match as nice as the ChatGPT versions. Maybe it will get better with time? Or mine will look better when there animated. I dunno we will see.

🧱 Week One Progress
This week we completed a course in procreate to learn the basics of how to draw on an ipad.
We setup the ipad with a github desktop called “Working Copy” which allows me to download the image template from the game into procreate to edit or recreate from scratch. Then I can easily upload the changes to github, and it’s easy for the developer to import the updates into the game.
The video is a compilation of snippets taken in medal, and they are speed up to keep the video short.
One enemy bullet made, or at least a rough draft of one, with a really simple animation.
I don’t know how to get video off the ipad yet, but it’s on my list of things to learn.
