Glass Studio Build #6, 2018 – June Update, the Big Shed, Ohio

This entry is part 9 of 20 in the series Glass Artist

Since the fire Jan 2, 2016, our attempts to rebuild the studio have been difficult. The most recent hurdle has been mostly mental. The anxiety of losing it all after finding stability again has been brutal. We are taking this build very slowly. Installing sprinklers. Extra electrical protection and cutoffs. Extra fire extinguishers. Drywall and metal sheeting for the walls.  Insulation for the winters. Addressing the flooring. Building bench tops with tile. Everything needs to be right and safe for a long-term studio.  The goal is to have business insurance on the studio before we start production back up. No work has been done since this video in June.
